Kristen Rose Wheeler and John Stevens Leese III were married on July 19, 2014 at the Spa at Norwich Inn. Justice of the Peace, Chaz Zezulka, officiated.

Kristen is the daughter of Michael and Karen Wheeler Sr., of Mystic. Kristen graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a bachelor of arts degree in English and certification in secondary education. She is a teacher in Stonington.

John is the son of John and Julie Leese Jr., of Noank. John graduated from UCONN with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and is an engineer at Electric Boat.

Stephanie Wheeler, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor, and Michael Leese, brother of the groom, was best man. Other attendants included Lauren Wheeler, sister-in-law of the bride, Jessica Meredith, sister of the groom, Jori Arzoumanian and Tara Nye. Michael Wheeler Jr. and Matthew Wheeler, brothers of the bride, Tom Balestracci, Alex Teixeira, and Steven Deane-Shinbrot were also attendants. Gabrielle Meredith, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, and Carson Wheeler, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas.
