The Day has begun planning for candidate debates in advance of the Nov. 5 municipal elections. We anticipate sponsoring debates in chief executive races — mayors and first selectmen.

If your local organization also is considering sponsoring such debates, perhaps we can work together. The Day can offer publicity and, in some cases, record the event for display on theday.com. We are only interested in teaming with nonpartisan organizations.
