New London — Jovanna Potter and Caylee Parker pitched back-to-back no-hitters as the New London High School softball team swept Grasso Tech on Monday, 12-0 in four innings and 9-0 in five innings.

Potter struck out nine and went 2-for-3 with two runs in the opener for the Whalers (6-14) and Jaelynn Potter went 3-for-3, including a triple, with three RBI and two runs. Also, Anaya Vega tripled and scored twice and Parker added an RBI triple.

Parker struck out 13 and had two sacrifice flies in Game 2 while Jovanna Potter went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI. Finella Smith scored three times, Jaelynn Potter had two runs and an RBI, Alexia Liriano tripled and scored, Bria Fielding had an RBI and scored, Makayla Rodriguez had a sacrifice fly and Ella Cook singled.

In other games:

• Starter Hannah Smith allowed no hits and struck out 10 over four innings of work as top-seeded Norwich Tech beat No. 8 Vinal Tech 16-0 in five innings in a Connecticut Technical Conference quarterfinal Kaitlyn Gifford went 3-for-4 with six RBI for the Warriors, which will play No. 5 Wolcott Tech in Tuesday’s semifinals at 3:45 p.m.

• Chariho (R.I.) had 13 hits and took advantage of five East Lyme errors to defeat the Vikings 13-2. Nikki Marsh and Olivia Quagan had two hits apiece for East Lyme, which finishes the regular season 11-9.

Baseball

• Liam Holloway's RBI single broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh and Old Lyme went on to defeat Hale-Ray 3-1 in the Shoreline Conference. The Wildcats (13-7) earned the No. 5 in the conference tournament and will play at No. 4 Cromwell in Tuesday's quarterfinals at 3:45 p.m. Ryan Ramella pitched a complete-game five-hitter for Old Lyme. He also had two hits and started the two-run rally in the seventh with a base hit.

• Connor Melinosky scored from third base on Bowen Baker’s pop-up in foul territory with one out to give Wheeler a 1-0 walk-off win over Putnam. Baker scattered four hits over four innings with nine strikeouts for the Lions (7-13) and Lucas Jones threw an inning of hitless relief for the win.

• Weston Bruce went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI as Ledyard defeated Stonington 7-5. Ethan Jarry added two hits and an RBI and Cade Walters tripled for the Colonels (11-9) while Kevin Ferrer hit a solo home run for the Bears (8-12) and Sampson Casadei added a two-run single.

• Eastern Connecticut Conference Division II champion Bacon Academy earned the No. 1 overall seed for the conference tournament with a 3-2 win over East Lyme. Nick Tiziani (5-0) scattered seven hits and did not walk a batter for the Bobcats (15-5) while Kevin Rakowski's RBI double in the third broke a 2-2 tie. Jacob Diaz was 2-for-2 with a two-run single for the Vikings (10-9).

• Andrew Fritz had two hits, two runs and an RBI as Morgan beat East Lyme 4-1. Sean Demers pitched a four-hitter with one earned run for East Lyme (10-10) and Blake Bragaw hit a solo home run.

Girls' lacrosse

• Olivia Gianakos had three goals and two assists as Waterford edged NFA 14-13. Meghan Foley, Jacklyn Lavoie and Kaylee Swanson each had three goals for Waterford (8-8). Katie Kelly had seven goals, Kayley Ericson had a goal and three assists and Ria Kilimos had three goals for the Wildcats (8-8).

• Hilary Gahran had seven goals to lead Valley Regional past Montville, 20-8. Tony Ryder scored five times for Valley (9-7). Kenzie Ullrich had three goals and an assist, Alexis DeLucia had three goals, and Jenna Banta scored twice for the Indians (2-14).

Boys' golf

• Grasso Tech’s Reese Cote (53) earned medalist honors, but Putnam won the match, 221-240. Troy Davis, Mike DiColella and Tyler Fitts all shot a 55 for Putnam. Matthew Woodall shot a 48 for the Eagles.

Girls' golf

• NFA's Ivy Chen earned medalist honors with a 47 as the Wildcats defeated East Lyme 221-249 in the ECC.
