Vehicle strikes wall at Pawcatuck Thread Mill

Stonington — A vehicle left the roadway and struck an exterior concrete wall at the former Thread Mill in Pawcatuck on Wednesday evening.
Stonington police Lt. Bryan Schneider said the small vehicle left the roadway at Clark Street and River Road about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, damaging the wall and some landscaping. The vehicle also was damaged.
Schneider said the driver was transported to the hospital with possible injuries.
Stonington police were investigating the cause of the accident.
No further details were available late Wednesday.
