Lucile Foss, 6, of Quaker Hill, compares her replica Olympic torch she made of cardboard, aluminum foil and colored tissue paper, with assistance from children's librarian Emma Barnes, left, in the Children's Room at the Waterford Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.
The library kicked off its month long Winter Olympic Reading program, as children created their own Olympic torches, and then walked around the library as a group holding their torches.
