Police: Man wanted on felony warrant turned himself in after fleeing traffic stop
Waterford — Police said a man wanted on a felony arrest warrant out of Virginia, who fled the scene of a traffic stop on state Route 32 on Thursday morning, turned himself in and the case is resolved.
Police said they stopped a vehicle for speeding near Fitzgerald Avenue on Thursday morning and determined one of the passengers, Myles Grillo, was wanted on a felony arrest warrant out of Virginia.
Police said Grillo, 25, fought an officer's attempt to detain him and fled the scene on foot. He turned himself in Thursday afternoon.
Grillo faces charges of interfering with an officer and being a fugitive from justice out of Waterford in addition to the charges out of Virginia.
