Stonington―The autumn routine of pressing apples into cider continued under gray skies Tuesday at B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill in Old Mystic.
Josh and John Miner, the fifth generation of their family to run the business, operated the steam-powered cider press.
Cider making demonstrations can be seen sporadically on weekdays, but are run regularly between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekends through October and November. The mill closes for the winter early in December.
