    Food justice discussion to take place at Conn College

    New London — A panel discussion open to the public and titled "Food Justice: How Does the Food Movement Feed All the People?" will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday in Blaustein Humanities Center at Connecticut College.

    Admission is free.

    David Barber, a Conn College trustee who graduated in 1988 and who is co-owner and founder of Blue Hill restaurant, farm, market and yogurt, will moderate the discussion.

    Panelists will include: Dan Giusti, founder of Brigaid and former chef at Noma who is working with New London Public Schools to transform the way schools serve meals to children; Phil Haynes, assistant livestock manager at Stone Barns Center and a 2014 graduate of Conn College; and Rachel Black, visiting assistant professor of anthropology at Conn College.
