Coalition seeks input from artists at sessions
The Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition will hold five meetings in mid-February for artists in the region to speak about their ideas, successes, needs, and challenges.
Existing resources for artists will also be a topic of discussion at the meetings hosted by the coalition's regional arts partners.
The Cultural Coalition, which is the Regional Service Organization (RSO) for the Connecticut Office of the Arts and which aims to be the region's voice for arts and culture, is shaping its 2017 plans and priorities to try to best serve and support artists, artisans and makers.
The Cultural Coalition's Listening Tour Stops are:
Feb. 9, 6-7 p.m. at Cragin Memorial Library, 127 Norwich Ave., Colchester
Feb. 13, 6-7 p.m. at LaGrua Center, 32 Water St., Stonington
Feb. 15, noon-1 p.m. at Foundry66 Co-Work space, 66 Franklin St., Norwich
Feb. 16, noon-1 p.m. at Lyme Art Association, 90 Lyme St., Old Lyme
Feb. 16, 6-7 p.m. at Expressiones Cultural Center, 84 Bank St., New London
