    Happy birthday, Navy

    Groton — Local Navy dignitaries and service members were celebrating the Navy's 244th birthday at a ceremony during the Meet Your Navy event Wednesday at the Submarine Force Museum in Groton.

    The branch's birthday was Oct. 13.
