    The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus holds auditions Jan. 23 for current season

    The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus is holding auditions for singers who will perform for the rest of the 2018-19 season. Those selected will sing Mozart's Coronation Mass in C Major during the April 27 concert with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony in New London's Garde Arts Center.

    Auditions are by appointment only and take place starting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23 in Harkness Chapel on the Connecticut College campus in New London. Applicants are expected to prepare two songs of symphonic, hymn or church music and should bring piano accompaniment scores for their selected songs. An accompanist will be provided. Those auditioning will be asked to vocalize and sight read.
