The spitfire is back. Lambert’s last album was the often-melancholy and absolutely masterful double-CD “The Weight of These Wings.” That was written and recorded in the wake of her divorce from Blake Shelton. Well, her new release apparently reflects her bouncing back from heartache (maybe her new husband helped) because “Wildcard” is old-school Miranda: full of attitude and a (country) rocking sound. Among my favorite songs here: the sassy duo of "It All Comes Out in the Wash" and "Way Too Pretty for Prison" and the sweet ballad "How Dare You Love."
