Morris Day and The Time lead Funk Fest lineup at Mohegan Sun
You know those people at concerts who complain whenever someone in front of them gets up to dance?
Well, those complainers had better not show up at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday because everyone WILL be dancing.
Saturday is when the Flashback Funk Fest comes into the Arena, and the lineup is jam-packed with funky 1980s acts.
Imagine all these musicians on the same night: Morris Day and The Time (“Jungle Love,” “The Bird”), Cameo (“Word Up,” “Candy”), SOS Band (“Take Your Time (Do It Right) (Part 1),” “Just Be Good to Me”), Zapp Band (“More Bounce to the Ounce”), Lakeside (“Your Love is on The One”), and Rose Royce (“Car Wash,” “Wishing on a Star”).
