'Dinner and a Show' live outdoors at Thames Club with Dear Samson

Flock Makerspace and Dev’s on State are planning a live “Dinner and a Show” in the parking lot of the Thames Club in New London on June 13.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. that night, Noah Todd and Kevin Durkee of Dear Samson will play a set of original folk rock. Dear Samson is a New London-based band that has played throughout Connecticut.

A reservation must be made to attend the socially-distanced dinner-and-music event, but the dinner will also be available for carry-out. A livestream of the event will also be available on the Flock Theatre Facebook page, and all event information can be found in the Flock Makerspace Facebook group and at flocktheatre.org.

Dev’s on State has a French dinner prepared for the evening: French Verrine Salad: A stacked salad with greens and vegetables; Poulet au Vinaigre: Roasted Citrus Chicken; and Oh La La Puff Pastries. The cost is $23 per person and $25 for a bottle of wine, or sit-in patrons will have the option of getting individual glasses.

Reservations and carry-out orders must be placed by 5 p.m. June 12. Food pickup will be between 5:45 and 6:15 p.m. June 13 at the rear parking lot of the Thames Club, 290 State Street, New London. Call Candace Devendittis at (860) 442-3387 to reserve your seat and dinner or to place a carry-out order for that night.
