Stars of stage's 'Wicked,' 'Mean Girls' sing at the O’Neill
This Sunday’s Gardening Gathering at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford will feature O’Neill alumna Mary Kate Morrissey, who will be joined by her best friend, teaching partner and past castmate Ginna Claire Mason.
As Broadway opens this fall, Mason will return to playing Glinda the Good Witch in “Wicked.” Morrissey will play Janis on the national tour of “Mean Girls.”
Their 4 p.m. show at the O’Neill will trace the history of music theater through songs in a program called "Stages."
The Garden Gatherings are held in the O’Neill’s Sunken Garden and cost $25 for a circle that provides space for up to six members of a household or bubble. The Garden opens at 3 p.m. for entry. Masks and social distancing are required.
