Harry Styles headlines two concerts at Mohegan Sun
This is an odd bit of split-dates timing. Harry Styles will headline the Mohegan Sun on Thursday and on Saturday. But, in between, Blake Shelton will be at the Sun on Friday.
I would love to see them cross over to each other shows: Styles singing “Hillbilly Bone,” and Shelton wearing a feather boa.
Well, it’s enough that Styles, one of the hottest pop acts right now, is doing two dates at the Arena. A second one was booked after the first sold out. He is performing as part of Mohegan Sun's 25th Anniversary Celebration.
Back when Styles was a member of One Direction (RIP!), the group gave its first concerts in the U.S. at the Sun. Based on past set lists, it looks as though Styles only performs just a single One Direction song in his solo show, “What Make You Beautiful.” But he's got plenty of solo material from his two chart-topping albums.
And fans, a little COVID info for you: concert-goers have to show proof of vaccination or of a negative COVDI test within 48 hours of the event. And everyone is required to be masked.
Harry Styles, 8 p.m. Thurs. and Sat., Mohegan Sun Arena; $86.25-$236.25; mohegansun.com.
