    'A Bing Crosby Christmas' comes to Goodspeed

    Theatergoers can get into the Christmas spirit by getting into Christmas music at Goodspeed Opera House with concerts featuring the songs of Bing Crosby, the Andrews Sisters, and Karen Carpenter.

    The shows are produced by Goodspeed Musicals in association with Artists Lounge Live.

    First up, from Dec. 9-12, is “A Bing Crosby Christmas” starring Jared Bradshaw, whose Broadway credits include “Jersey Boys” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Also part of the performance will be a band with a trio singing Andrews Sisters harmonies. Numbers will include “Jingle Bells,” “White Christmas” and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo.”

    And then, Dec. 16-19, comes “Merry Christmas Darling” featuring Heidi Kettenring singing Karen Carpenter hits. Kettenring was on Broadway in “Chicago,” and she’ll perform numbers ranging from “Close to You” to “The Christmas Song."
