Theresa Mailhot brings her band T & The Wrecks to Norwich

Norwich folks know Theresa Mailhot, since she grew up in the Rose City and graduated from Norwich Free Academy.

And they probably also know what a powerful singing voice she has.

Which brings us to the reason she’ll be back in Norwich this weekend. She and her soul-rock band T & The Wrecks, which is based in Boston, will be here to give a concert.

The group, featuring Mailhot as lead singer, is out supporting their new EP, "Love Languages." They'll do two sets at the Chestnut Street Playhouse. They will mostly play their original music but will mix in a few covers.

T & The Wrecks, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Chestnut Street Playhouse, 24 Chestnut St., Norwich; seating is general admission, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $25 and available at chestnutstreetplayhouse.org.
