It is with deep sadness that we read of Wheeler's passing. ("Friends until the end," Feb. 23.) Every time we drove by the farm we searched for Buster and Wheeler, and often were fortunate enough to see them together.To think that farm owner Warren Burrows was kind and sensitive enough to go ahead with the planned book reading at Claude Chester School, knowing that his heart was heavy, is so special.
