    Town: Montville

    Directions: Take I-395 North to exit 79. Take a right at end of ramp onto Route 163. At stop sign near post office (on right) go straight onto Meeting House Lane. Entrance will be on your left.To get to the tennis courts, take a left off of Meeting House Lane onto Simpson Lane and the parking area will be on your right.

    Where to Park: There are several paved parking areas on the right when you pull into the primary entrance on Meeting House Lane. On Simpson Lane there is also a paved lot near the tennis courts and another lot at the large pavilion on Oxoboxo Dam Road.

    Description: A 141.35-acre town park in the Oakdale section of Montville. At the Meeting House Lane entrance there are athletic fields (football, baseball, softball, basketball and soccer) and four hiking trails, including one with designated fitness stations. At the Simpson Lane entrance are the tennis courts and main entrance to the fitness trail. The pavilion is located on Oxoboxo Dam Road.

    Regulations: Mountain bikes are welcome and while there is no set policy on dogs it is preferred that they be on a leash. Dogs are not allowed on the playing fields.

    Amenities: Bathrooms near the baseball fields and the pavilion.

    Natural Features: Wetlands, various types of trees and shrubs, small wildlife and deer.

    Fees: No fees to use the trails and tennis courts. Varying fees apply for renting the buildings or fields. Information on renting the pavilion or the athletic fields can be obtained from the Parks and Recreation Department.
