Mohegan - A 24-year-old Norwich man was arrested Sunday morning after he allegedly broke into the valet garage at the Mohegan Sun, commandeered a small floor sweeper and then crashed it into the back of a maintenance pickup truck, according to state police.
Tony Ly of 23 County Fair Road, Norwich, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief in connection with the incident, which took place at 11:30 a.m.
The pickup sustained minor damages. State police said Ly also broke several overhead lights in the garage. He is due to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Aug. 12.
