Scarecrow exhibit kicks off at the Florence Griswold Museum

The artist Gail mally-mack of Chester, wipes off a stray bit of acrylic paint from the trousers of her "Marc Strawgall" scarecrow at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme. The scarecrow representing the painter Marc Chagall is part of the exhibition "Scarecrows at the Museum: A Harvestime Adventure," which begins on Friday. Peter Immordino of Essex helped with the installation. More than 30 artists and designers are participating in the monthlong exhibition on the grounds of the museum.
