It's the Soup-er Bowl

While some argue that the Super Bowl is all about football, many more (me) will say it's all about food. When you've gotten tired of the same-old chili, taco-dip, hot wings menu, consider a Texas-style hearty soup for the big game.

Cream Of Green Chili Potato Soup

Yield: 5 servings

1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese

1 pint half and half

1 teaspoon green chili powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 potato peeled, cut into 1/4-inch cubes

Cover potato cubes with water in a pan, and boil until tender, then add other ingredients. Turn down to medium heat, and let simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
