Grasso grad, East Lyme woman finish basic training

Two people with local ties have graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
The graduates are Army National Guard Pvt. Dustin A. Bennett and Army National Guard Pvt. Jordan N. Fritz.
Bennett, the son of Linda and Jack Bennett of Oakdale, is a 2007 graduate of Ella T. Grasso Technical High School in Groton. Fritz, is the daughter of Charles Fritz III of East Lyme, is a 2011 graduate of The Morgan School in Clinton.
