    Norwich police identify suspects in Mai Thai slaying

    Norwich Police released a mug shot of David Grant, 32, charged with murder in the Mai Thai fatal shooting that occurred June 24, 2012.

    Norwich police have identified two men with local ties who are accused of taking part in the fatal June 24 shooting of Donna L. Richardson at the Mai Thai Restaurant.

    Both men remain at large, according to Detective Lt. Mark Rankowitz.

    David Grant, 32, is accused of murder, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a pistol or revolver. His last known address was 15G Adelaide Road, and police said he is thought to be hiding out with family in Brooklyn, N.Y.

    Devan Jarmon, 24, is accused of carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a pistol or revolver and first-degree reckless endangerment. His last known address was 298 Laurel Hill Ave., and police said he likely remains in the Norwich area.

    Police were called to the Laurel Avenue restaurant/bar at 1:50 a.m. on June 24 for a shooting in the parking lot.

    Richardson, 45, of 127 Hempstead St., New London, suffered a fatal gunshot wound, and another unidentified woman was injured by gunfire.
