New London registrars to audit voting machines Wednesdays

New London — The Registrars of Voters in New London will be conducting an audit of the optical scan voting machine at 10 a.m. Wednesday in City Hall.

The audit is open to the public. It is required by the Connecticut Secretary of State who selected districts in a public ceremony as required by state statutes.

It is a mandatory audit to ensure the accuracy of the machine. Anyone with questions may contact the registrars’ office at (860) 447-5206.
