VA Connecticut Healthcare System to host annual Veterans Day 5k

West Haven — The VA Connecticut Healthcare System will host its fifth annual Veterans Day 5k Race/Walk on Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.

The public is invited to take part to show support for veterans. The race is open to all ages and skill levels and the course is on the grounds of the West Haven campus. Proceeds will benefit the effort to build a Fisher House at the campus and provide comfort items for hospitalized veterans.

Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $20. Registration forms are available at www.hitekracing.com or www.connecticut.va.gov. For more information, contact Donna Cramond at 203-261-7963.
