New London – Police today arrested a 20-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed a man Dec. 1 during a domestic argument on Garfield Avenue.

After learning of an active warrant for her arrest, Rasharra J. Hines, of no certain address, turned herself in Wednesday at New London Police Department headquarters. She was charged with first-degree assault.

According to police, Hines stabbed a 22-year-old man in the chest with an edged weapon around 8:40 a.m. Dec. 1 during a dispute at 151 Garfield Ave. The man suffered non-life threatening wounds.
