As of Dec. 28 the federal government can now keep a watchful eye on your banking transactions, VISA records, Internet emails and searches, and text messages all without a search warrant. The U.S. Senate voted 79-12 (Amendment 3436 to Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) to trample our Constitutional Fourth Amendment rights which guarantees "the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects.... and no Warrants shall issue..."

These 79 Senators took an oath of office where they solemnly swore to support and defend the Constitution. They have committed a treasonous act. Sens. Blumenthal and Lieberman both voted to strip us of our rights. The question is how do we get our rights back?

Time for term limits.
