An afternoon of poetry with Glenn Shea and Rhonda Ward
Attention all citizens of Earth: There is NO football on Sunday. Repeat: there is NO football on Sunday.
Do something refreshing, then: on Sunday afternoon, head over to the Courtyard Gallery in Mystic for a poetry reading by Glenn Shea and Rhonda Ward.
Shea, an Uncasville resident, is author of the much-lauded collection "Find a Place That Could Pass For Home," while New London's Ward has recorded a compilation of her work, "As I Live and Breathe." Both are active and respected poets both locally and beyond.
It's free and refreshments will be served.
