Feb. 8 was certainly a day to remember

The Blizzard of 2013 showed me and my wife, both seniors, that the human spirit is alive and well on Daisy Hill Drive. I had a snowblower that needed repair, although it appeared useful during minor storms. But this monster storm was beyond anything I had ever seen. My neighbor passed by and saw my dilemma and in minutes brought her husband and neighbors and all their children. In minutes, acting as a team with three snowblowers they had my long driveway cleared. It was an unbelievable act of kindness. Daisy Hill Drive has, to us, the best neighbors anyone could ever hope for.
