Annual MS Walk is April 21

Mitchell College will serve as the region's starting point for the 2013 Walk MS on April 21. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and walkers will step off at 9 a.m.

Almost 500 walkers participated in the New London walk last year and raised about $62,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year, the New London planning committee has set a goal of $65,000.

This year's walk includes music provided by WCTY 97.7, an opening stretch, a DJ, magician, popcorn and a Kids Zone with activities, face-painting and more.
