The latest Archie Fest takes place Friday in New London's El 'n' Gee Club.

The occasional events honor the memory of Jarrad "Archie" Dietz, a scholarship artist, drummer and volunteer firefighter in Norwich who died in a drowning accident in 2009.

Many of his friends and/or favorite local artists will perform, including Oh The Humanity!, Progress, Alethea, Forsake The Sun, Catfish Phillips, Camacho, SkobieWon, Erik Lamb, N.M.E. The Illest and DeafDisco.

Archie wrist bands, T-shirts and pins will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will go to the Dietz family to be utilized as needed.
