Waterford — Federal agents and police descended on a home on Linda Avenue early Wednesday morning as part of undisclosed federal investigation, police said.

FBI Special Agent Daniel Curtin confirmed the home was the subject of a search warrant but would not comment any further, "to protect the integrity of the investigation." Curtin said no criminal charges have been filed and release of any information about the nature of the investigation by his agency would be "irresponsible."

FBI agents arrived at the 18 Linda Ave. home shortly after 5 a.m. to execute a search warrant as part of an ongoing federal investigation, according to Waterford Police Lt. David Burton. Members of the Waterford Police Department's investigations unit provided assistance, he said.
