Preston — A tractor-trailer that flipped onto its side Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Routes 12 and 2A had yet to be righted several hours later.

Authorities expected the site to be cleared between 10 p.m. and midnight, Preston Fire Chief Tom Casey said.

The driver in the one-vehicle accident escaped serious injury, Casey said.
