Can Finizio's union buddies fix City Hall?

One of New London's most iconic buildings is falling into ruin and the mayor can't do anything about it? "Finizio: No funding to fight City Hall mold," (Jan. 8). Nothing? Not even stop the leak so that damage can be contained? Why didn't he consider the maintenance when he renovated his own office space in the very same building? And what about looking into state/not-for-profit grants to save this historic building? Does he seriously want his legacy to be the ruin of New London's beloved City Hall?

Maybe the mayor should look to his labor buddies to help him out with plumbing, carpentry and painting in the City Hall. He often comes to the aid of labor. Let's see if they could return the favor in helping to restore a community treasure.
