NL police investigate laceration suffered by baby

New London — City police confirmed today they are investigating a Friday night incident in which a four-month-old baby suffered cuts during a domestic violence incident at 11 Ledge Road.

Police said they have prepared an arrest warrant for a family member of the child. The family member has not yet been located. Police said the baby sustained a small laceration in the 10:50 p.m. incident. The baby was treated at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and released into the custody of the mother. No other details were available.
