State police say teens attempted to sell stolen goods in North Stonington
State police at Troop E said they charged three teens with third-degree larceny Wednesday after the teenagers attempted to sell stolen camera equipment at the East Coast Jewelry Store in North Stonington.
Megan Henry, 19, of 14 Chord St., Westerly, and Molly E. Pepler, 19, of 6 Woodlund Ave., Westerly, were released on $2,500 bonds. They are scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on June 18. The third, a 16-year-old, was referred to juvenile court.
The stolen items, a camera with a case and other equipment, had been taken from a car in Westerly, according to a press release.
