Fire quickly doused in moored cabin cruiser in Lyme
Lyme - A smoky fire on a moored cabin cruiser in the middle of Hamburg Cove brought out both land marine firefighters Wednesday afternoon. The fire, which was reported around 3 p.m., was quickly extinguished.
Essex and Deep River departmental fire boats were the first to respond to the fire aboard the Somewhere in Time. The Lyme Fire Department and other departments also responded.
