During the Four Chaplains Day ceremony at the Peter Gallan American Legion Post 104 in Taftville on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, honoring four Army chaplains that gave their lives to save others when the U.S. Army Transport Dorchester was torpedoed by a German submarine on Feb. 3, 1943, local clergy (clockwise from left) Rabbi Julius Rabinowitz, Rev.
