North Stonington voters approve school building project

North Stonington voters overwhelmingly approved the controversial school building project by a vote of 1,352-611 at Thursday's referendum. With contracts already signed, town and school officials plan a groundbreaking ceremony Friday at 9 a.m. in the area of the schools' soccer and baseball fields.
