Because there's something wrong with me, many years ago I began writing an as-yet-unfinished short story called "Bad Rabbit." It was a pre-apocalyptic concept in which hundreds of thousands of children started dying of an awful and contagious disease wherein vital organs began to decompose before the kiddos were actually dead. Horrible.

The fun plot twist was that the original carrier of the disease was the Easter Bunny!
