New London police seek teenager missing since July 28

New London — Police are seeking a 16-year-old boy who they said was last seen July 28 and last heard from Aug. 2.
Elijah Nieves is a black male who has black hair and brown eyes with pierced ears and a scar on his left eyebrow. He's 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. Police did not provide a description of what he might be wearing.
Nieves, who is believed to be with a friend and does not have his medication, has stopped replying to text messages, police said.
Police said Nieves has ties to New London, Waterford, Montville, Clinton and Deep River.
