Keith Urban and Ludacris on different stages at Mohegan Sun Saturday

Think Ludacris will pay for any of Keith Urban’s purchases at Mohegan Sun on Saturday?

Here’s the deal: They are both playing the Sun this weekend, Ludacris in the Wolf Den on Saturday, and Urban in the Arena on both Friday and Saturday.

And both musicians have been in the news recently for, shall we say, money matters.

Ludacris was behind a woman in line at an Atlanta Whole Foods, and when she didn’t have enough money to cover her bill, he graciously paid for her. He didn’t introduce himself as Ludacris, just as “Chris” (his real name is Christopher Bridges), but the clerk let the woman know who he was.

Urban was on the other end of that scenario. He was picking up some snacks at a New Jersey Wawa’s while in the state for a concert. He sheepishly had to ask other customers for some dough when his card apparently didn’t work. A woman footed the bill, not realizing at first that it was the country superstar she was helping out.

(Don’t think it’s odd for Urban to be out and about; in previous gigs at the Sun, he was reportedly seen at The Shack in East Lyme and Friendly’s in Norwich. Stars, they’re just like us!)

In any case, both musicians will be at Mohegan Sun, and both are wonderful performers, so they’re bound to be entertaining shows — you can put your money on it.

Keith Urban, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $65-$105; 1-800-745-3000.

Ludacris, 8 p.m. Saturday, Mohegan Sun Wolf Den; free; mohegansun.com.
