Police: East Lyme High School student threatened 'acts of violence'
East Lyme — Police have charged an East Lyme High School student with threatening to “conduct acts of violence” at the school Wednesday.
Police said John Harrington, 18, of 113 Walnut Hill Road made the comments while at the school Tuesday. They arrested him at his home later Tuesday and charged him with second-degree threatening and breach of peace.
Held on a $5,000 bond, Harrington was due in New London Superior Court Wednesday.
