Groton — Alesha Coppinger, left, and Kyle Pomerenke of Breakwater Marina, based in New London, create the framing Friday in preparation for shrink-wrapping a sailboat for the winter at Spicer's Marina in Noank. 

Pomerenke said area marinas hire Breakwater as a subcontractor to shrink-wrap boats if additional help is needed.
