Mystic — Mystic Seaport Museum is offering free admission to all furloughed federal workers and one additional guest during the partial federal government shutdown. Federal employees must bring a government identification card and present it at the admission desk.

"We want federal workers to feel appreciated during this difficult period and this is our small way of ensuring we contribute positively by providing access to family activities," Steve White, museum president, said in a statement.
