Friends and Neighbors: Local Marine receives Wings of Gold

Marine 1LT Kyler Fricke, a 2012 graduate of Montville High School, received his Wings of Gold as a naval aviator at a ceremony in Pensacola, Fla., on Feb. 8. Fricke will go on to Cape Pendleton in California for training before assignment at Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, N.C., where he will fly the UH-1Y Venom helicopter.
