Testing the waters in Norwich
Norwich — Cousins Jovanni Arrieta, 12, of New London, Damien Pulst, 8, of Norwich, Jolijah Arrieta, 10, of New London and Jeremy Soler, 11, of Norwich took a swim in Spaulding Pond on Wednesday, the summer season's opening day for the beach in Mohegan Park.
The boys' grandfather said they wanted to come to the pond on opening day "so bad because they love the park."
