Child & Family Agency to hold virtual art auction
The Child & Family Agency is holding a virtual art auction starting Wednesday, Sept. 30, and ending on Oct. 7.
The Onward Leaders Virtual Art Auction will feature oils, pastels, watercolors, photography, quilted wall hangings, pottery and jewelry, in total about 100 items ranging in value of from $80 to $5,000. The auction has attracted notable artists from southeastern Connecticut but also from New York, Rhode Island, Maine, Pennsylvania and even the United Kingdom. The styles vary widely from Russ Kramer's, Michelle Marra's, and Christopher Zhang's oils to a Mark Seliger photograph of Central Park to pop art from John Boone. There are even two portrait sessions.
Proceeds will support Child & Family Agency programming providing mental and behavioral health and child care services to at-risk families in southeastern Connecticut.
